Wordless Wednesday - Wordpuzzle

Don't look at the comments until you have figured it out for yourself.

Ned helped me dust the other day and was being silly and put my LOVE word back on the shelf backwards. Last night El Guapo fixed it for me, but put it back this way. He came and gave me a kiss and told me to look at it. I didn't get it for a minute, but when I did I smiled. I like it. I think I will keep it this way. :)

I'm never blogging again

I don't know if I can do this anymore. I have no will to live (as a blogger anyway).

It's not about you, I promise. You all are so nice. It's not even about me and my 80's hair that lost all of it's height before I took those pictures last week.

It's just...Oh, I can't even say it without crying again. You see, it's about my camera.

I let my sweet little boy, Ned, use it to take a couple of pictures of a truck he made with his new Legos. He is a great photographer, and he takes good care of my camera. Well, today was no different. He took a great photo.

And when he was done, he carefully set it on the window seat next to him while he moved the truck for a new angle. Then sweet, curious Lucky decided he wanted to see what Ned was doing. He climbed up onto the window seat and knocked the camera off. It landed on the open flash and now the flash will not close correctly and it will not flash.

I am so sad. Seriously, what am I going to do if I can't post nice pictures on my blog? I know that I can take some pictures outside and inside when the lights are on in the middle of the day, but sometimes you just need that flash.

Ugh! I need to stop talking about it before I start to cry again. Waaaaaaaaaa!!!

I will probably regret this...

I am going to post pictures of myself.

On Friday night we had a Stake High Priest Social. I was on the planning committee. The theme was "A Century of Memories" and we were asked to dress up in our favorite decade. I chose the 80's.
Some of you out there have asked to see pictures. So here you go...

So, there you have it. Now, hopefully I can think of something else to blog about so this won't be at the top of my page too long. :)

Traditions

Today is Ned's parent teacher conference. It will be the 4th time I have gone to one of these for him, and I hope today goes as well as the other three have. When Ned was in Kindergarten I started a tradition of taking homemade caramel apples to the teacher.
Dusty helped me unwrap the caramels while Ned was still at school.

This year Mrs. M will be getting five caramel apples because she has three children.

The boys (read:El Guapo) is sad about that because it means less left over for him. It's a good thing we will be making more next week for Dusty's teacher, Mrs. E.

I love spoiling my children's teachers because they don't make very much money (that is an understatement) and they spend too much of that hard earned money on extras for their classroom. Sometimes I like to give them a little "Thank You!"
We have lots and lots of traditions around here. I will share more of them with you as they come up the rest of the year.

What are some of the traditions your family has this time of year?

Don't forget to enter my giveaway. You don't have to be a frequent commenter to enter, and you can enter if you are a member of my family (well, not you, El Guapo). One of the three amigos will draw a name out of a hat tomorrow morning.

Happy Birthday, Mom! My 100th post. And a GIVEAWAY!!!

I am totally copying my SIL and doing a giveaway for my 100th post. (It is her 200th and you still have a little bit of time to enter!) Cool, huh?

Speaking of cool...
I thought it would be cool to have my 100th post on my Blog Birthday, but I guess as they say, you are only as cool as your friends are.

Speaking of birthdays...
Today is my mom's birthday. I am the third of her six children. As we all do when we have children, I now have a greater appreciation for my mother.

Some of the earliest memories I have of my mom are in the kitchen of our house in American Fork, Utah. I would sit up on a stool and eat my peanut butter and honey sandwich. I don't remember what she would do, but I do remember the feelings of love in our home. Sometimes I wish I could go back to those days. Sometimes I do, but now it is me making the sandwiches and my boys sitting at the table watching me. I hope they feel as loved as I did.

Mom, I love you, and I know you love me too. Thank you for that.

Speaking of family...Wooden letters for setting on a shelf or hanging on your wall. They are 9 1/2" tall and about 1/4" thick.

Do you like that? Do you want it or do you know someone you could give it to for Christmas? Well, comment on this post and you could win it.

You have until Thursday night. I will announce the winner on Friday morning. Good luck, and thanks for reading!
