Baby, it's cold outside!

Here are some pictures of the ice storm. We were without power most of Monday and for a few hours on Sunday night. We were some of the lucky few that got to sleep most of the night with power. There are still many homes without power and we feel very blessed to have ours back on. Some of the pictures were taken after it had started melting. The pictures do not do it justice. It has been an adventure!

Cool (or should I say cold?) pictures. Is school closed until the ice melts?

Whew! thanks for the pictures...and the post. I was hearing more and more stories of the prairie freeze, and began to wonder if you were all right.
Did Mike's store close at all? I can't imagine customers driving through all that for a Craftsman tool - still, it is almost Christmas.

gma dibb,
Ned returned to school today. His school district was one of two that had class today. There are still over 500,000 homes without power today. So sad.

Rhonda,
The only sales in the past few days have been generators and chain saws.
