I was on my blog getting ready to edit a post and Ned sat next to me and said, "That's a cute picture of Lucky. Where is he?"
I had been caught! "Um, the zoo." I said, worried about the reaction.
"Was I there?" Ned asked.
"No, we went on Monday.” I said.
Ned then glared at me and said, "That's it! Someday Daddy and I are going to go someplace without any of you guys. We are going to go in the summer so it will be nice and warm!"

incidentally, it's funny how he assumes that daddy is on his team. mommy is the obvious traitor. alas, that is often our role, isn't it?
That is so cute, poor Ned! Oh well at least he has a day with Dad to look forward too!
Oops! The dilemma of opportunity vs. desire. I would love to take both of my grandkids places and I can't justify taking Taylor to some places where I think Easton won't enjoy, because he is so sad when I leave him. I Just can't do it!
