Bath Time

We are having fun with our little Buttercup. She is so tiny and sweet.

Here are a few pictures of her when we gave her her first bath.

She LOVES having her hair washed...

...but the rest she says she could live without.

This is Buttercup ready for her first day at church. It was the first time I put a dress on her. Having a girl is so much fun!

Buttercup's Pictures

My friend, Cara took pictures of Buttercup yesterday. She did such an awesome job. I am grateful to have a friend that is so talented. Thank you, Cara! Go to Captured by Cara to see them.

She's here!

As most of you know by now Buttercup has arrived. She was born on Tuesday, Feb. 2nd. She was 7 lbs. 4 oz. (my smallest baby!) and 20 inches.
I will post some pictures soon, until then the one on the header will have to do.
We got home last night and are adjusting to the life of having a newborn.

The Amigos love their sister. Ned can't get enough of her, he is such a sweet big brother. Dusty thinks she is the greatest but does not really want to hold her a lot. Lucky, well, he just goes about his business of being a three year old with a kiss on Buttercup's head now and again.

That's better!

I just wanted to let you all know that Buttercup is now transverse. My doctor was able to move her enough today to feel her head and she is confident she will be able to turn her on Tuesday morning when I go in to be induced.

Fab-u-lous!!

My friend, Vanessa is having a giveaway at her new blog/etsy shop. Vintage Brush has some really beautiful items that I think you should check out, it is like eye candy! I want one of everything for Buttercup and myself. She gave me some things at my baby shower and I am SO excited for her to wear them. I will definitely have to post pictures of them when she wears them.
Go over, take a look and enter to win.

Complainer

I sit in my cozy chair and complain about the fact that my feet, hips, back, stomach, head, and just about everything else hurts in this necessary evil part of pregnancy, where I will do ANYTHING to get this baby out! And then I read this... and am thankful that I am not in as much pain as others, and I am not only looking forward to a visit from my mom, but get to meet my daughter next week!
How very grateful I am for my life.

What's up?

Buttercup's head, that's what. Right now I am just waiting for my doctor appointment next week to see if she has turned and is not longer breech. I sure hope so. It would really stink to have to have a c-section for my very last baby. I already have an induction date of Feb. 2nd and I assume that if my doctor wants to want to try an External cephalic version she will just do it that day if she is still breech. We'll see.

I have some posts I have been working on from Christmastime. I will get those up next week. Then I hope once I have this baby I will feel up to blogging a little more.
